Paper work by Australia artist Lisa Rodden. Lisa creates delicate and detailed hand cut paper art by slicing, layering, painting and folding to create truly unique 3 dimensional wonders with a chameleon quality. Shadows and colours appear and disappear as the viewer moves around the work, creating an intriguing feeling of a living piece of art.
Lisa’s work can be viewed and purchased at Koskela in Sydney

Cindy Wright paints large-scale portraits and still-life oil paintings that play at the intersection between figuration and abstraction, creating formal portraits that echo the pictorial history of traditional British painting. Wright’s portraits of friends and art world personalities are intermixed with canvases in which fresh meat turns the paint into rather abstract and unfathomable paintings.

There is something about the out-of-focus perspective that I find very soothing and Philip Barlow toke it and put it on canvas with oil .
