Instant Hutong | marcella campa & stefano avesani – “fluo house is a site specific meet-up space made of colorful tapes and created on occasion of Beijing BaiYe – Beijing White Night on 22-23 March 2013, in which for 24 hours visitors could enjoy 24 different events and encounters around Dongsi area in Beijing. We chose a half destroyed little room within a demolition site and we decided to deal playfully with this idea of temporary, ephemeral, fading and rebuilding. After removing dust and debris, the back wall was decorated with a graphic illusion as starting visible sign to mark our intervention. Visitors could take fluorescent stickers and reflector adhesive strips and use them to fill the remaining walls.”

D ominick Reed , Developer at Cambridge (UK), turns his face in photoshop to create portraits of eccentrics. Mr. Flibble spent more than 3650 hours, used a ton of makeup, wigs and dozens of accessories to make these self-portraits to the rhythm of his wacky humor.

MTV EMA 2012 Director’s Cut

Animation crated by Germany animation and graphic studio SEHSUCHT for the 19th annual MTV European Music Award.

We created and directed a 20 second sequence, and opener, bumper and closer alterations from 2 to 20 seconds length, revolving around a huge Zoetrope, a fast-moving carousel which evokes the illusion of motion through a fast succession of static elements which come to life with a stroboscopic light.

SKELETAL SYSTEMS

Skeletal Systems created by Canadian graphic designer Sophia Ahamed .

Skeletal Systems is a mixed media exploration of both the human and animal skeletal systems. The images are meant to bring out the emotional value of each bone structure providing the viewer with an abstract take on the inner workings of the body. This is a personal project that co insides with the illustration series OF Flesh and Bone.
