The most familiar interpretations of dragons are European dragons , derived from the lore and mythology of Greece, Scandinavia and the Middle East, and also those of Eastern dragons . The word dragon comes from the Greek δράκων ( Drakon ), “dragon, serpent of huge size or water snake”, which probably comes from the verb δρακεῖν “see clearly”

Jonathan Lax (also known as YONIL) is a freelance illustrator and a graphic designer born 1982 in Holon, Israel. His main influences are urbanism, city life in general, music posters, album covers and street arts. He believes that the essence of every artwork is in its basic idea, so naturally, he would usually devote a great deal of time for an idea to emerge.
After graduating with honors almost 3 years ago from the department of visual communication at the Holon Institute of Technology, he started working in a small studio in Tel-aviv. Several months later he went freelance full-time. The works of YONIL were featured in several publications and magazines such as IdN, Illustration Now!, Torso, A5 Magazine, Typoshirt One etc.
YONIL currently lives and works in Tel-Aviv, Israel.

Ever since he set off on this journey (as Add fuel to the fire), Diogo Machado’s visual probes have been traveling far and wide, from the digital to the handmade he has collaborated with renown entities, brands and galleries. He now splits his life between the love for illustration and drawing and the need to use the streets as his personal gallery to play with peoples’s minds and attention, adding pieces of “renewed tradition” – the tile panels; adding fuel to help fire up the colorlessness that permeates our daily lives.
